THE CRAFT IN AMERICA STUDY CENTER presents “Tools of the Trades: American Handmade Implements & Devices” from October 11, 2025 through January 24, 2026. This is the first exhibition of its kind to highlight beautifully designed, hand-crafted tools made by contemporary toolmakers in the United States, with many hammers, saws and other implements from personal collections. Many of these tools were built, altered or customized by the artists who used them, and the exhibit gives a rare glimpse behind the curtain.
